About Project Burma

Project Burma is a ministry of Horsell Evangelical Church (FIEC), Woking, Surrey. The Church Pastor has been visiting Burma (Myanmar) for a number of years - teaching, preaching and supporting Churches, Bible Schools and individual Christians in their mission to win the Burmese people for Christ. The work has recently expanded as members of the church have also ministered in the country.

Teaching

When visiting the country we are able to teach in Bible Schools and preach in local churches, equipping the pastors and missionaries in using the Bible to evangelise and build up the local churches. Evangelical Churches in Burma are on a mission to take the gospel to every area of the country. We also supply books to pastors and Bible students and also support a Christian bookshop in Yangon.

Assisstance

Both long term and immediate needs are identified within Burma and some or the greater part of this need is met on a prayerful basis. Where there are urgent needs these will be met swiftly whilst some other situations may be provided for over a longer term.

Website

We have to be careful not to provide personal information on the unsecured pages but more specific information regarding the ministries is available with a valid login.

Because of the current situation of the country there are delicate matters which if mentioned, could prevent our ministry from continuing and so that is why we will refrain from mentioning anything that could be potentially dangerous for our Brothers and Sisters inside Burma and not talk about the political climate of the country.

Some parts of this website require an authentic login to access more detailed information about specific ministries. This measure of security has been included to protect the Christian brothers and sisters in Burma from any undue persecution caused by promoting their causes.
